With the end of financial year approaching, the Eyre Peninsula Community Foundation is encouraging generous community members to consider a tax-deductible donation into the Foundation’s Corpus to support the valuable work of the Foundation.

Chairperson Garry Downey says “Donations to the Corpus live in perpetuity as only the interest and dividends are distributed in the form of community grants each year. As more funds are added to the Corpus the income increases and more money is available to distribute to communities across the Eyre Peninsula.”

Garry Downey also adds, “In addition to the annual community grants, the Eyre Peninsula Community Foundation also funds the Eyre Peninsula Home Hospice Service, General Palliative Care Fund and partners with the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal for their Back to School program. Donations to any of these projects also support the Foundation’s work.”

The Eyre Peninsula Community Foundation carefully manages a growing base of donated funds and works with philanthropic and other partners to ensure the best possible value and impact from each of its community projects, regional student advancement and home hospice services on Eyre Peninsula. The Foundation is supported by the invaluable work of the Book Bazaar volunteers and committed administrative staff.
