Delivered by RDAEP in partnership with the Department of State Development, the Career Transition Service (CTS) supports individuals in the Spencer Gulf region impacted by redundancy, job loss, or career change.

CTS can provide:

  • personalised career counselling
  • resume and job search support
  • access to free accredited training*
  • occupational tickets (eg forklift, white card, first aid)*
  • referrals to other vital services, including financial and mental health support.
    *Eligibility criteria apply

The CTS provides a holistic, tailored approach to help people build confidence, upskill, and take the next step in their careers.

You may be eligible if you:

  • Live in South Australia
  • Work(ed) in, or are seeking work in, the Spencer Gulf Region
  • Are navigating redundancy, job loss, or looking to start or grow your career.

Other Workforce Development Support or Programs

Where possible, RDAEP provides information and support to businesses on the Eyre Peninsula in relation to workforce issues.  We are also periodically funded to undertake workforce programs for a specific area or focus.

If your business is having workforce issues, RDAEP would like to know – this helps us provide relevant information to government, to help find solutions to common problems.  We may also be offering useful workshops through one of our programs or be able to direct you to additional resources.

One of these resources is the Employer of Choice Toolkit, developed by Regional Development Australia Limestone Coast (RDALC) in 2023.  This Toolkit includes a range of tips, tricks and templates to help businesses become better employers, covering topics such as diversity and inclusion, policies and procedures, staff leave, workforce planning, and attraction and retention.  Download the Toolkit
