    • The free Career Transition Service provides:
      • Career counselling
      • Resume and job search guidance
      • Guidance with options for free accredited training, occupational tickets, upskilling and reskilling
    • Access to free accredited training is available to contractors and workers impacted by the downturn in steelmaking.
    • Access to fee Free TAFE and vocational education and training (VET) courses are tuition-free opportunities to train, re-train or upskill. If you’re an eligible local you can:
      • Enrol in a course from the Subsidised Training List for free
      • Gain Recognition of Prior Learning for a partial or full qualification
      • Get accredited occupational tickets and high-risk licences (e.g. forklift, whitecard, first aid, confined space, elevated work platform)
      • To understand more about your fee free training options, speak to a counsellor through the Career Transition Service.
    • General support and advice to work through changes in your job or career
    • Jobseeker referral into available supports and services
    • Facilitation of training to gain new skills or build on existing knowledge
