South Australians can now access a subsidy of up to $6,000 on the cost of a battery and low interest finance available if needed to help pay for the installation of home battery systems.
The installation of these systems will reduce demand on the network and in turn, lower energy prices.
The State Government subsidy is calculated on the kilowatt hour capacity of the battery purchased. Furthermore, Energy Concession Holders are eligible for a higher subsidy, ensuring low-income households are supported to access the Scheme.
If you don’t already have a solar system installed, system providers can provide you with a quote for the installation of solar and battery.
