The Eyre Peninsula Grassroots Grants program is now open for applications!

Grassroots Grants funding is being provided through the Eyre Peninsula Landscape Board (EPLB) levy, for projects valued greater than $2,000 and less than $10,000 (GST exclusive) for the 2020-21 financial year, with a total of $100,000 available.

Funding will be awarded to projects on a competitive basis and the Board hopes to fund a range of projects across the region addressing its priority areas, including:

  • Sustainable agriculture
  • Water resources management
  • Minimising the impact of pest plants and animals
  • Conserving and improving native vegetation, wetlands, creeks restoration and coastal habitats and
  • Community (including Aboriginal) engagement in managing natural resources.

Volunteers, farming groups and local community organisations are encouraged to submit applications, which must be submitted by 24 August 2020.
