About the role

As the Maintenance Supervisor you will lead a maintenance execution team that will ensure the safe and efficient maintenance of SA Water assets while working in line with customer expectation, quality and regulations.

Along with this you will also be responsible for the following:

  • Support and manage the maintenance team
  • Create and promote a safety culture within SA Water
  • Plan, schedule and execute the maintenance of SA Water assets
  • Ensure that SA Water infrastructure is maintained in a timely and safe manner
  • Ensure projects are quality achieved within budget and timeframes
  • Support the team through change management and improvement policies
  • Follow and promote new and existing SA Water standards
  • Maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

About the Person

To be considered for this role you will need to have experience as a leader within an asset maintenance environment. Show a clear understand of occupation health and safety and experience with change management projects.

You will need to have all relevant qualifications and certificates and display a high level of written and verbal communication skills

Key requirements of the role include:

  • Electrical, Mechanical or similar trade qualification
  • Experience in asset maintenance
  • People management experience
  • Experience with planning and scheduling a large maintenance team
  • Strong knowledge of OH&S is essential
  • Ability to understand technical operational problems
  • Experience with project planning and budgets
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft office suite
  • SA Water requires all workers to be fully vaccinated against Covid 19 (Including boosters), HEP A&B, Q Fever and Flu.
  • Valid Driver’s Licence and ability to drive a manual transmission
