The Enrolled Nurse role is to support the Registered Nurse/Midwife in providing a person-centred care consistent with regulatory and statutory requirements within a health care setting.
The Enrolled Nurse will work with patients and their families where there are multiple complexities and diverse cultural backgrounds. He/she will provide evidenced based care, recognising and responding to clinical deterioration or other incidents and will escalate appropriately. He/she will develop clinical skills while keeping up to date with professional standards of practice and quality management initiatives consistent with organisational policies.
The successful applicant must be enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. Experience in the provision of nursing care in the healthcare setting in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice essential.
This is a part time vacancy, working 40 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Screening/Check and specific immunisation requirements. COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Public Health Act 2011 (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) to work in SA Health/health care setting.
