Our SA division provides specialised skills in programmed & responsive maintenance, emergency repairs, disabled modification upgrades and vacant restorations, property surveys, demolition, asbestos removal, and construction.

Due to our exciting growth we are seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance QA Officer to be based out of Port Lincoln, Whyalla, Port Augusta or Port Pirie. The successful candidate will be rewarded with competitive rates and a team environment. State-wide travel will be required.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Provide leadership and promote a positive compliance and risk mitigation culture of excellence and continual improvement.
  • Monitoring and reporting on developments including changes in legislative, regulatory obligations
  • Engaging with and advising the business on effective management of its quality and compliance obligations and performance improvement
  • Implementation and maintenance of quality and compliance framework and procedures
  • Support and encourage the organisation in identifying and self-reporting on quality and compliance issues, including supporting investigation into such incidents and continuous improvement
  • Mentoring and training key stakeholders in all areas of quality and compliance
  • Lead, consult and support on-site personnel in embracing and valuing the benefits of a positive/proactive WHS culture, actively contributing and exceeding safety performance targets
  • Provide expertise and advice

The Successful Candidate Must Have:

  • High level of written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders internally and externally and influence compliance outcomes
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Ability to plan and execute projects and work programs to achieve agreed outcomes
  • Experience or knowledge in supporting delivery of compliance programs in maintenance and construction would be highly regarded
  • Residential and commercial building knowledge required
  • Qualifications in OHS, Auditing, Trainer/Assessor (Highly Desirable)
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
