The Live Music Australia program is a competitive grants opportunity for small to medium sized venues that support quality original Australian live music.
It is acknowledged that the music industry is facing increased pressures in light of the severe impacts of COVID-19, and the program includes support for activities that assist the live music industry to rebuild and become operational following the impacts of COVID-19.
Applications are now open for the Australian Government’s $20 million Live Music Australia program Round 5.
This will include $2.5 million in targeted funding available to assist with the costs of organising and hosting music festivals in 2023.
Under this round of the Live Music Australia program, festival organisers will be able to apply for funding support for a range of eligible activities.
Applicants will need to demonstrate their commitment to hosting music focused festivals and presenting original Australian live music acts.
