The Commissioner for Children and Young People has launched the new statewide Student Representative Council (SA SRC) and is calling for applications from young people in Years 10, 11 and 12 to apply.

The vision for this new state-wide SRC is that it will be a body of up to 100 high school students from across the state, working together to create genuine, student-led change within their own communities.

A feature of the SA SRC is the abilkity for both individuals and ‘small teams’ of up to 3 students to apply together. The team membership option is to encourage involvement by young people who might join if one or more of their friends does so – an “I will, if you do” approach.
