Transition Assistance Funding is available to support providers looking to deliver National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) services to transition to the NDIS market and grow their business.
Under the Boosting the Local Care Workforce (BLCW) Program, eligible service providers are able to apply for Transition Assistance Funding valued at up to $20,000 (excluding GST) to purchase tailored professional services, including business advice, to grow their business and workforce capability.
The first round of Transition Assistance Funding is now open. To apply, just complete three easy steps:
Step 1: Check the Funding Guidelines here to both check your organisation’s eligibility and see the list of priority funding areas for this round.
Step 2: Complete a free Readiness Assessment, to both measure your readiness to transition to the NDIS and also get your Unique ID required to apply for Transitions Assistance Funding.
Step 3: Apply through the Community Grants Hub website.
The following organisations are encouraged to apply for this funding:
- Organisations that are NDIS registered.
- Organisations in the process of registering for the NDIS.
- Organisations planning to seek NDIS registration in the next 18 months.
- The following types of service providers, if not yet NDIS registered: Aboriginal Medical Services (AMS) or Aboriginal Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO), aged care provider, disability (non NDIS) service provider, health and other service organisation, or subcontracting to an NDIS registered organisation.
