The Hon Nola Marino MP, Assistant Minister for Regional Development is pleased to announce the reappointment of Mr Bryan Trigg AFSM as Chair of Regional Development Australia (RDA) Eyre Peninsula to 30 June 2025.
Minister Marino said, “Bryan has provided strong leadership for RDA Eyre Peninsula during his time as Chair, having successfully steered the committee through the challenges of 2020 and, along with the members and staff, provided great support for the region’s business community and future economic development.
Bryan will lead RDA Eyre Peninsula under a refreshed Charter that focuses their role on driving investment and local procurement opportunities and through this, creating jobs and economic growth for our regions.
I look forward to working with Bryan and the RDA Eyre Peninsula members and staff over the coming years and encourage the community to reach out to their RDA to discuss how it can help business succeed.”
RDA Committees play an important role in building strong, confident and vibrant regions. The focus of RDA Committees is to work with all levels of government, business and community groups to create jobs, attract investment and stimulate economic growth in their regions.
CEO Dion Dorward congratulated Bryan saying his reappointment by Minister Marino recognised his strong contribution to the stability and effectiveness of the board that in the previous financial year had assisted in the delivery of more than $170m of government investment to Eyre Peninsula.
