Where possible, Regional Development Australia Eyre Peninsula (RDAEP) provides information and support to businesses on the Eyre Peninsula in relation to workforce issues. We are also periodically funded to undertake workforce programs for a specific area or focus.
If your business is having workforce issues, RDAEP would like to know – this helps us provide relevant information to government, to help find solutions to common problems. We may also be offering useful workshops through one of our programs or be able to direct you to additional resources.
One of these resources is the Employer of Choice Toolkit, developed by Regional Development Australia Limestone Coast (RDALC) in 2023. This Toolkit includes a range of tips, tricks and templates to help businesses become better employers, covering topics such as diversity and inclusion, policies and procedures, staff leave, workforce planning, and attraction and retention. RDAEP is currently undertaking a Regional Workforce Connector and Collaboration Program in the Upper Spencer Gulf, working as the lead in conjunction with RDA Far North and RDA Yorke and Mid North.
The program is funded by the State Government Department for Industry, Innovation and Science to undertake place-based initiatives to deliver workforce outcomes in the region and provide feedback and information to State government on relevant subjects.
