What’s the role?

We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join the Kalari team, based in our Ceduna Reporting to the Workshop Manager, this role will perform fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment.

Key aspects of this role include:

  • Routine services and maintenance repairs (necessary and preventative maintenance) on our fleet of modern trucks, tippers and pneumatic tankers
  • Fault diagnosis of air brake and hydraulic systems
  • Accurate records of maintenance work completed
  • Safety-focused approach

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:

  • Relevant Diesel Mechanic qualifications
  • Proven experience working with Kenworth, Cummins vehicles
  • Hold or have the ability to gain HR, MC and Forklift licenses
  • Have an ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Have the ability to pass a ASIO/Police clearance
  • Have a positive attitude

It is preferable, but not essential that you have:

  • Previous experience working on road transport
