About the role

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic person to join our growing team as a Restoration Assessor and Supervisor based in Port Lincoln, South Australia. In this diverse role, you will use your exceptional people and organisational skills to provide restoration services to clients whose properties have been damaged by extenuating circumstances such as fire, flood, or mould.  You will be expected to attend and manage day to day restoration jobs whilst supervising staff on larger projects.

This would be an excellent opportunity for a family or individual to relocate to Port Lincoln.  All training will be provided, no experience necessary.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Attend water damage, fire damage & mould jobs
  • Assess and report on restoration jobs within timeframes.
  • Work unsupervised, in addition to supervising other team members.
  • Represent Steamatic in a timely, positive & professional manner to our clients.
  • Perform all areas of mitigation & restoration works as required, including equipment installation  monitoring
  • Provide peace of mind to clients in stressful situations
  • Liaise with internal office staff, project managers & clients throughout the works process
  • Prepare & present damage, inspection & inventory list reports for insurers
  • Complete all necessary job documentation using an IPAD linked to our system
  • Travel around Regional SA from your depot as the works schedule may dictate
  • Work a rotating on-call roster, including after hours shifts as required

ALL TRAINING PROVIDED

If you have a background in a trade related industry, building & contents restoration, or residential and commercial cleaning then we want to hear from you ASAP!

Key Selection Criteria

  • Experience in hands on, physical roles
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Desire to go above & beyond to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Great presentation and clear communication skills.
  • Computer / IPad / Microsoft skills
  • Ability to work independently & within a team
  • Proactive nature & good work ethic
  • Valid Driver’s License, Construction Induction (White Card), Police Check and Working with Children’s Card (or willingness to obtain).

About the business

When disaster strikes, we are there: be it flood, fire or mould contamination, Steamatic will carry out the appropriate restoration work to restore domestic and commercial premises.
