The Community Care Worker assists in providing a direct client service to persons who are aged, frail or disabled who wish to remain living in their own home with some assistance.  Duties may include reporting and recording on general observations of individual clients, completing routine documentation in keeping with established policies and procedures and identifying diversional therapy needs of individual clients and/or groups.

Though the position is primarily located at Port Lincoln, the Community Care Worker may be required to work from other sites, including Tumby Bay and Cummins, within Eyre and Far North Region.

To be eligible to apply you must be an Australian resident, or hold a current working visa, who has completed a AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.  A current drivers license and willingness to drive essential.

This is a part time vacancy, working 38 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.  In addition to the annual salary package, we also offer salary sacrifice benefits, employer superannuation contributions and leave loading.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Screening/Check and specific immunisation requirements.  COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Public Health Act 2011 (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) to work in SA Health/health care setting.
