About the Role:

  • We are seeking applications from those who would like to undertake a 24-month Cert III Supply Chain Operations Traineeship, at a local Port Lincoln Storage and Distribution Centre.
  • Work flexible hours, including occasional shift work due to the seasonal requirements of the business.

Key Duties:

  • Operate mobile and fixed plant in a safe, secure and reliable way to achieve maximum throughput and resource utilization – bulk truck loading and unloading
  • Ensure customer service standards are met, truck weight management in line with NHVR, truck turnaround time in line with customer expectation, correct products loaded, and paperwork completed
  • Inventory management
  • Perform routine preventative cleaning maintenance and pre-start checks as well as other general manual and administrative duties found in a bulk materials warehouse environment.

Skills and Tickets:

  • Highly organised and able to communicate effectively with transport operators, customers and co-workers
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to solve practical problems effectively
  • Work autonomously on set tasks through to completion
  • A positive and can-do attitude
  • Drivers Licence is preferred but not essential
