About the role

The Navitas Skilled Futures Employment Programs Facilitator is responsible for assisting job seekers participating in the Navitas Skilled Futures Career Transition Assistance (CTA) or Employability Skills Training (EST) programs to build their confidence and develop the knowledge and skills required to become more competitive in the local job market to secure employment. The Facilitator will provide career pathways coaching and guidance in soft skills, employability skills and digital literacy.

The person we seek will ideally have the following:

  • Proven experience working in the employment sector
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding KPI’s and managing client relationships
  • Experience in assisting job seekers to develop employability skills e.g. writing resumes, cover letters and the application process
  • Ability to plan and facilitate individual programs which assist job seekers to achieve immediate and long-term career goals
  • A high level of digital literacy and the ability to use a range of platforms to integrate digital literacy into program delivery.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
