What is Engineering Drafting?

Drafting is a specific and integral technical discipline of Engineering Design for developing technical drawings for the fabrication, assembly, and installation of Mechanical or Civil/ Structural engineering solutions.

Generally, the process involves using software such as Autodesk Inventor, or AutoCAD, to develop a detailed 3D or 2D design model that we then document as a drawing.
