Line and Label Restaurant at Peter Teakle Winery (Teak Corp Winery Pty Ltd)

The Line and Label Restaurant and Cellar Door is located in the Peter Teakle Wines estate on ‘the hill’ in Port Lincoln, South Australia.  The Line & Label restaurant boasts 1 chefs hat, ranked no.40 in the 2022 Delicious 100 awards, and focusses on the fantastic local Eyre Peninsula seafood on our doorstep.  This is a truly unique opportunity to work alongside a vineyard operation within a reputed establishment and access to our own extensive vegetable gardens, fruit orchards, herb gardens and greenhouses.

This is a full-time role for a passionate chef with 2 day shifts, 3 nights and consecutive days off to encourage work life balance and explore the natural wonders abound.  The restaurant is open for Thursday to Sunday trade, as well as for special events including bespoke culinary dinners and private functions. The venue incorporates an absolute state-of-the-art facility and kitchen, as well as magnificent outdoor garden areas.

As Demi Chef, your role will be to support the kitchen team in all aspects of kitchen operations. Applicants must have a passion for excellent food and the ability to work well under pressure.

The salary for this position is up to $ 63,000 plus superannuation (depending on experience). Adjacent to the vineyard spacious and comfortable fully furnished staff accommodation overlooking the bay and surrounded by gardens is available for the successful applicant.

Key experience and skill requirements include:

  • Certificate qualification in Commercial Cookery
