Letcher Moroney Chartered Accountants


We seek a Full-Time or Part-Time Accountant to join our Ceduna office to provide support to our Director. To be considered for the position you will have an accounting background, ideally with a tertiary qualification in Commerce (or similar) or extensive industry experience. You will also need to be able to relate to people and build trust with clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Processing financial statements and tax returns
  • Preparing reconciliations with supporting documentation for year-end accounts
  • Liaising with the ATO in relation to income tax, PAYG & GST matters
  • Applying general accounting principles and interpreting tax legislation

Experience and Attributes:

  • Experience with various client accounting software
  • High level written and verbal communication skills, including previous experience assisting and communicating with clients
  • Prior experience in a comparable environment
  • Previous experience with Xero Practice Manager an advantage
  • Knowledge of Primary Production Accounting viewed favourably
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
