A vacancy currently exists for an Administration Officer to be based at our Whyalla town office.  The purpose of the role is to support the payroll and other general administration functions of our three local mine sites.

You will be enthusiastic, motivated to succeed and have a high attention to detail.  Experience in a projects-based organisation along with the ability to deal with confidential and sensitive business matters will be an advantage.  A proactive and organised work style along with strong interpersonal and communication skills will be essential for role success.

This is a full time permanent role that will operate on a Monday to Friday (5:2) day shift roster.

Key role tasks include: 

  • Prepare payments for Golding employees such that they are accurate and timely;
  • Accurately enter data into various software applications;
  • Undertake tasks assigned by your Supervisor associated with end of month (EOM) and end of year (EOM) transactions and reporting;
  • Take necessary measures such that all obligations of payroll are met; and
  • Prepare reports and other documents as required by your Manager.

Key capability requirements: 

  • Knowledge and experience in a similar role;
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise in a fast-paced working environment;
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in MS Office;
  • SAP experience is highly desirable;
  • Demonstrated strong drive, energy and work efficiency with the ability to problem solve.
