About the role

Reporting to the Planning Leader, the primary responsibility of this role will be to provide planning and scheduling services for maintenance and major repair work. This role is instrumental in the asset maintenance effort through effective management of all proactive, predictive, and preventive maintenance tasks.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure the required resources, materials and services as well as find an efficient time slot based on a risk-assessed priority
  • Develop and maintain schedules using MS Project
  • Ensure all maintenance activities have resources assigned and scheduled in SAP
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity and work quality
  • Anticipate and eliminate potential delays through effective planning and coordination of manpower, parts, material, and equipment access
  • Communicate effectively across the whole site including maintenance, operations, and your wider team
  • Work with leaders on cost initiatives and major repairs

About your experience

Our ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling processes as well as a collaborative, organised and adaptable nature to manage changing priorities.

You also have:

  • Ideally have a technical background – Mechanical or Electrical (not essential)
  • Previous planning and coordination experience
  • High attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a busy environment working on multiple projects at any given time.
  • Strong MS Office skills and ability to navigate through multiple systems
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels within a business
  • Ability to influence people and lead on safety
  • Proven capability in managing contractors
  • Solid organization and time management skills
