About the role

Reporting to the Maintenance Systems Leader, this role is an integral part of the data management process and is responsible for tracking and driving toward targets set for increasing plant and equipment reliability. Through SAP and other available systems, you will be involved in driving best practices with database management and governance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the effective creation and maintenance of master data within the SAP/CMMS System
  • Support the work management processes, coaching and guidance of best practice in the maintenance system data requirements
  • Identify opportunities for improved asset performance, through standard master data practices across all plant areas
  • Maintain SAP Master Data standards and govern equipment data
  • Consult regularly with SMEs about issues arising from Work Management, SAP or KPI’s, and work to resolve these issues using internal and external resources
  • Create and generate reports for reliability and maintenance teams

About your experience

As an experienced SAP user, coupled with your experience in maintenance or asset preservation, you will have a sound understanding of database management – how to manage and coordinate maintenance systems.

You also have:

  • An understanding of maintenance methodologies and improvement processes
  • Ideally from a manufacturing or similar heavy industry background
  • Demonstrated capability to communicate with employees at different levels within the business
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel for the purposes of report writing
  • Competent in other MS Office products such as Outlook, Word, Visio, Power BI and Powerpoint
  • Site experience in a heavy industry and an understanding of plant maintenance practices is desirable
