Engagement Officer – Full Time – Port Lincoln – 7 Months Parental Leave Cover

Country & Outback Health’s extensive primary mental health footprint extends throughout regional and remote South Australia. Our team is continuing to grow, and this exciting opportunity will give the right candidate the opportunity to make a difference to our communities.

About the role:

We have a 7-month Parental Leave Cover opportunity for this role.

  • Provide practical support and information for individuals and their families living with severe and persistent mental illness.
  • Help consumers achieve their goals and maximise their individual engagement through connection with a range of services and supports.
  • Coordinate services and supports which will include building relationships and working collaboratively with existing services in the community, communicating ideas and information and using problem solving skills.

Qualifications:

  • Completed or working towards Cert IV in Mental Health/Disability Studies or equivalent is required
  • National Police Check
  • Department of Human Services Child-Related and NDIS Worker Check Screenings.
