The company’s expanding operational footprint includes multiple farm sites across the Spencer Gulf; our Hatchery in Arno Bay; Fish Health and R&D facilities in Port Lincoln; and our world-class Seafood Processing Facility in Adelaide where our group support functions are also located.

Position Overview

Clean Seas is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all Maintenance activities at our Hatchery Operations at Arno Bay on the beautiful Eyre Peninsula, South Australia.

Reporting to the Hatchery Manager, the role is responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of the required asset maintenance of the facility and ongoing project management of equipment, infrastructure and resources.

We are after a dynamic and energetic individual who will lead a small maintenance team and ensure the reliability of operations is maximised for our current requirements and future growth.

The role is integral to the successful operation of this unique, world-class aquaculture facility and the support of our skilled and dedicated Hatchery Team.  Experience in the Agribusiness sector, particularly Seafood and Aquaculture would be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate all maintenance activities
  • Project planning and execution
  • Supervision of small Maintenance Team
  • Coordinate work performed by outside vendors and service providers
  • Total preventative maintenance, managing mechanical, electrical and plumbing breakdown
  • Increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness and reduce downtime
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Ensure spares and consumables are maintained at appropriate levels using maintenance management software
  • Ensure maintenance tasks and projects comply with OHS policies and procedures
  • Support and live by our “Safety First” culture and WHS initiatives

Required Skills

  • Mechanical/Electrical Trade Qualification
  • Proven leadership, expert planning and scheduling capabilities
  • Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Maintenance management systems
  • Able to determine priorities and make independent decisions to meet tight deadlines
  • Complete documentation with a high level of detail
  • Effective training and mentoring skills
